I love music. Simple as that. Writing it, playing it, listening to it, recording it. I love the Beatles, Radiohead, the Chemical Brothers, Bach, Puccini, Miles Davis, The Stones, Eels, Rachel Unthank, Steely Dan, Hendrix, Tchaikowsky, Blur, Talking Heads, Funkadelic, Motown, Girls Aloud, the Bee Gees, Frank Zappa, Lou Reed, Joni Mitchell, Rachid Taha, the Doors, bar room blues, opera, West Side Story, folk, anti-folk, bhangra...all of it!

Well nearly all of it. I can’t be doing with power ballads, boy bands, X factor wannabes, James Blunt, RnB emoting or scat singing. And metal can be pretty irritating too, now I think of it.

I’m a guitar player, arranger and producer and I’m currently involved in three musical projects :

• Kinkajou - four piece acoustic band. Gothic folk meets Jacques Brel.  MP3

• Miss Garbo - four piece electric band. Alanis Morissette meets  REM. MP3

• Brotherhood of Bob - virtual and sometime physical duo. Online presence in the offing. Influences include Capt Beefheart, Kraftwerk and the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band. Not that you’d notice, however.                                MP3
